THE SCOOP

THE MENU
The tagline, “a casual steak house,” greets customers at the door, but be assured, there are plenty of options beyond beef. Start with the truffle onion rings, a crispy, crunchy shareable. Or try a yummy soup, like the French onion with fontina and Gruyère; ask if there’s a special, like the creamy butternut squash offered on a recent Sunday. Other starters, like oysters on the half shell or sweet and spicy calamari, are also good choices. The sticky wings are appetizers, but generous enough to have as a light main. They are fried, then drenched with teriyaki glaze and toasted sesame seeds.
At lunch, the filet mignon sandwich is made up of hearty sliced beef, caramelized onions, Gruyère, baby arugula and a smear of creamy horseradish sauce on a plump baguette. Dinner features premier steak options, such as a 48-ounce porterhouse for two, cowboy rib eye, and a 12-ounce Wagyu strip. Fish, pastas and chicken round out the menu, as well as a host of sides.
