THE SCOOP
This popular restaurant has locations all over New Jersey. Great for breakfast, lunch or brunch, it has a large menu but includes lots of tasty options whether you want to go healthy or indulge.
THE MENU
If you’re craving something sweet, there are five different kinds of pancakes on the menu, including cinnamon roll and Berry Chocolaty flavors, as well as French toast and waffles. Egg lovers can try the Eggs-tra-ordinary dishes, including huevos rancheros and a classic pork roll sammy, or one of the three-egg omelets.
A great value is the create-your-own combo, where you pick two of the following: ½ salad, ½ sandwich or soup, and/or chili or mac and cheese, all for only $12.75. The Martha’s Vineyard salad comes with mixed greens, grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries and mango. The Chop Chop salad is also tasty and filling.
HEADS UP
Winter specials include a sinful Hotchata: Mexican-inspired hot chocolate with sweet cinnamon rice milk, topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle. Another indulgent choice is the cannoli cold-brew coffee, which comes with a mini cannoli on the side.
