1. Supporting Public School Students in Newark
The second annual StreetSquash Newark Gala raised $100,000 to benefit the expansion of StreetSquash Newark’s after-school program, which provides tutoring, squash instruction, mentoring and more to public school students in Newark. 2. Raising Funds for Ladacin Network
The Turning Point Restaurants raised over $21,000 for the Ladacin Network to benefit children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities or delays in Monmouth and Ocean counties. 3. A Legacy Lives On
The Maurice J. Spagnoletti Foundation (MJSF) raised more than $32,000 at its fifth annual fundraiser. 4. Saving Lives Through Organ and Tissue Donation
NJ Sharing Network, dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation, raised nearly $400,000 at its 30th anniversary gala. Celebrating were, from left, John Creel of Novartis; Elisse Glennon, vice president and CAO of NJ Sharing Network; and Lori Ryan of Novartis.
5. A Successful Holiday Turkey Drive
From left, Jets player Demario Davis, Cayden Barrison, Natalie Thigpen of Summit Medical Group (SMG), former Giant Justin Tuck, and Dr. William Tansey of SMG and the Summit Medical Group Foundation volunteered at a holiday turkey drive, garnering more than 600 turkeys and $3,500 to benefit the Community FoodBank of NJ.
6. Tackling Kids Cancer
March Associates Construction, Inc. donated $105,703 to Tackle Kids Cancer, benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center.
