If you like classic cashmere in baby-soft ponchos, wraps and cover-ups, you’ll love this gift-giving idea. Minnie Rose, designed by Lisa Shaller-Goldberg, originally from Parsippany, just introduced cashmere slippers in gorgeous colors, adorned with a perky fur pom. It’s the perfect combination of cozy, comfortable and fun.
Just in time for the holidays, the slippers retail for $143 a pair and a luxe robe and slipper set (see images) goes for $396.
Lisa’s career in the fashion industry started as a child spending time in the art department of her father’s textile converting company, Tandem Textiles. There, one of her youthful musings became the basis of a print used for popular kids’ clothing retailer, the Children’s Place.
In high school, Lisa became a buyer for a boutique in Livingston, New Jersey, getting an early start in her career in the fashion industry. She graduated from the prestigious FIT in NY and became a driving force behind iconic 90’s and 2000’s brands like Juicy Couture, Camp Beverly Hills, Ugg Australia, True Religion and Hard Candy. In 2005, she founded Minnie Rose, dedicated to her wild-spirited grandmothers who were a strong source of support.
Among Lisa’s celebrity fans are Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, Selma Blair, Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria, Giuliana Rancic, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lisa Rinna, January Jones, Oprah Winfrey, Vanessa Hudgens and Christie Brinkley. The collection is available at specialty boutiques, Neiman Marcus and minnierose.com.
