Have you heard about the new jewelry concept that’s launching at Bloomingdale’s Short Hills in mid-May?

Since its creation in November 2015, Les Georgettes by Altesse has become a big success story within the jewelry industry, with more than 3,000 retail partners worldwide. In North America alone, the brand has more than 500 retail partners since launching in the U.S. and Canada in mid-2016. So why has Les Georgettes sold in excess of 500,000 bracelets, one million leather bands and 100,000 rings a year around the world?

The secret sauce seems to be its customizable concept that combines fine jewelry with interchangeable colors and reversible leather bands. Women of all ages have embraced the Les Georgettes idea of creating a personalized collection by instantly changing or reversing the band to complement any outfit, handbag or mood. Colors within the Spring 2018 collection include navy blue, light blue, green, teal, violet, red, yellow, orange, pink and other hot hues.

The collection includes small, medium and large bangle bracelets in gold, rose gold and silver crocodile, giraffe and other motifs; as well as necklaces and earrings with full-moon and half-moon pendants.

By marrying the savoir faire of two companies that are officially recognized as part of France’s national heritage (Maison Altesse and Texier), Les Georgettes melds fine jewelry and leather craftsmanship. All collections are produced with traditional French know-how in group-owned atelier workshops that were established in 1905.
