Lauren Irvin, the creator of Campus Cube, packs her subscription-based care packages with an array of healthy munchies (from granola to brownie bites); personal care items (razors, foot cream); handy tech accessories (wireless wipes, phone pockets); and fun stuff like a stress ball, coffee cup or water bottle. Once empty, the cube doubles as a storage box. “People love sending messages of encouragement along with things that are useful and healthy,” says Irvin of her year-old service. Subscriptions are for one semester (three or four boxes), a full year (six to eight boxes), or single-themed boxes, such as the Exam Survival Cube. The cubes’ contents aren’t customizable, but they do include a personalized note from the sender. “We get orders from all over the world, from parents, grandparents, coaches, pastors and friends. It’s amazing the wonderful things people say in their notes. It’s great to be a part of sharing such love and encouragement.”
