Gentlemen appreciate being pampered at men's salons with cutting-edge hair and skin services.

18|8 Fine Men’s Salon, the latest go-to location for stylish males, has opened its doors at 40 West Park Place in Morristown and it’s anything but a traditional barber shop.  The salon offers full grooming services and treatments like guys’ haircuts and styling, eyebrow/ear/nose waxing, straight-edge hot lather shaves, facials, color services, scalp and hair replacement therapy, nail treatments, and styling products.

“We are thrilled to open our doors and bring a high-quality suite of men’s grooming services and products to the residents of Morristown and the surrounding areas,” salon owner Regina Shanklin told me. “The experience at 18|8 is unlike one at an ordinary hair salon or barber shop. When men walk into one of our modern facilities, they enter a special retreat. Here, men feel comfortable enjoying our premium services.”

At 18|8, men can purchase memberships that provide perks that include complimentary clean-ups and other bonus grooming services. Team members at 18|8 are trained to take the time to learn about their clients’ personalities and special needs, and deliver services to complement their lifestyles.

The salon takes its name from the original formula for stainless steel, 18% chromium + 8% nickel added to steel. When the two alloys are combined, they result is super strong and enduring. Since launching in 2002, 18|8 Fine Men’s Salons has hundreds of locations across the country including Morristown, Jersey City, Closter, Bedminster and Princeton in New Jersey.

I enjoyed the Morristown location’s grand opening last week and must give a special shout-out to stylist Gina who invited me to sample an eyebrow wax. Thumbs-up to her thorough yet gentle waxing technique!
