These custom-made, one-of-a-kind poufs from New Jersey-based Well Design make a happy statement in any nursery, kid’s room or playroom. The just-launched collection is now available in limited edition from projectnursery.com. Project Nursery is an inspirational online source for baby’s first room and beyond, chock-full of kid-friendly design trends and ideas.
Covered in durable cotton fabric, the whimsical tuffets are the brainchild of Heather Tokarz, interior designer and principal in Well Design, LLC (welldesignllc.com) of Mendham. Previously, Heather was a designer for Pottery Barn Kids in Short Hills.
Poufs are individually crafted by Rae Hoffman of Bernardsville, a nationally recognized fine artist specializing in watercolor and oil paintings (studio7artgallery.com). Rae is a former president of the Somerset Art Association.
Heather says, “I am building this brand inspired by the fun, playful nature of children’s interiors. Soon, the tuffet collection will be joined by toddler pillows with special embroidery details. Pouf ottomans and pillows are perfect for a baby registry, shower gift, nursery or child’s room. New Jersey parents love the look, and grandparents are scooping these up for when grandkids come over to play.”
These posh poufs are also available in understated colors and patterns for grown-up spaces like family rooms, living rooms, master bedrooms and dens.
Custom-ordered tuffets come in both juvenile and adult sizes and styles, and customers’ own fabric is also accepted for an upcharge.
