Get a Fab Salvatore Minardi Haircut – and Support a Worthy Cause

You might know Salvatore Minardi as one of the area's foremost hairdressers, but he's also a passionate community leader and philanthropist ...

If you want a fabby hairstyle and blowout any time, run on over to Salvatore Minardi Salon in Madison during regular business hours. And if you want the proceeds from your beauty services to be donated to a worthy cause, be sure to visit the salon’s pop-up location on Saturday, September 27 from 10 to 4. That’s when Salvatore and his staff will once again raise funds for Cheshire Home in Florham Park, New Jersey’s leading provider of residential and rehabilitative services to young adults with spinal cord and neurological impairments.

The fundraiser is part of Madison’s annual Bottle Hill Day Festival, when the downtown business district is transformed into a free street fair and music festival, rain or shine, organized by the borough’s Downtown Development Commission.

The Salvatore Minardi pop-up salon on Waverly Street will be staffed with nouveau stylists, and haircuts and blow-outs will go for just $25. Salvatore himself will be on hand for a limited number of haircut designs at a benefit price of $50.

Walk-ups on Bottle Hill Day are welcomed, but to be sure you snag a spot, make an appointment at 973-443-4455.

And here’s a fun side note…

Salvatore has a soft spot for Cheshire Home, not only because of the tremendous work it does, but because he and Cheshire Hill executive director George Zeitler go wayyyyy back. In fact, they were in the same high-school band, Indigo Shroud, when George played bass guitar and Salvatore contributed lead guitar stylings as well as vocals.

Salvatore Minardi Salon recently was named a finalist in the Great Oak Award program, New Jersey Monthly‘s honor roll of the state’s most generous companies.
