Here’s a late-breaking sale update. Select Vineyard Vines stores throughout New Jersey will host a shopping fundraiser for national nonprofit, Pajama Program, this Thursday, July 19, from 5-7 p.m. Locations include the Grove at Shrewsbury, the Mall at Short Hills, and Garden State Plaza. Shoppers will enjoy 10 percent off their purchases, and 10 percent of purchases will be donated to Pajama Program.

Pajama Program believes that every child has the inherent right to a loving good night that starts with changing into clean, warm pajamas and enjoying an enchanting story.

The national organization serves kids living in the foster care system, residing in shelters and group homes waiting to be adopted, and those in unstable situations, giving them the magical gifts of new PJs and storybooks. To encourage a thriving environment, the children are also encouraged to participate in various programs at Pajama Program reading centers, nurtured by caring volunteers.

“Support and donations throughout the summer are crucial to Pajama Program. Most shelters across the country experience an increase during the summer months and children are especially in need of a comforting bedtime routine since school is out. We’re thrilled to have the support of Vineyard Vines again this summer. With their help, we can provide the children and teens we serve with the tools necessary for a comforting, peaceful night’s rest to help them reach their potential the next day,” says Jamie Dyce, Pajama Program’s Executive Director.

So far, Pajama Program has collected and distributed more than six million pairs of new pajamas and books across the U.S. To learn more about Pajama Program, visit their website.

Vineyard Vines, known for its whimsical neckties and smiling pink whale logo, was founded in 1998 on Martha’s Vineyard when brothers Shep and Ian Murray exited corporate America to start making ties that represented the “good life.” Vineyard Vines clothing and gear for men, women and children are sold in more than 600 specialty and department stores nationwide and at their website.
