Show Explores Jersey’s Top Towns

New Jersey Monthly presents a new series that will tour the state’s hottest places to live.

Best Places to Live, a new half-hour TV series presented by New Jersey Monthly, will premiere at 10:30 pm on July 11 exclusively on NJTV, the state’s public-broadcasting network.

The new series will explore New Jersey’s most-exciting towns and regions, checking out an array of homes, sampling local cuisine, visiting top attractions and interviewing area residents.

The pilot episode takes viewers to Hudson County’s hot Gold Coast communities of Hoboken and Jersey City.  In touring these vibrant communities, we learn about their history and the roles that these towns played in the lives of immigrants and the development of the modern New Jersey.

Additional air times for the pilot are July 15 at 5:30 pm, and July 13 and 16 at 4:30 am.

New Jersey Monthly editor Ken Schlager serves as consulting editor on the series. The pilot was underwritten by Coldwell Banker and K. Hovnanian Homes.
