Flea Markets - New Jersey Monthly - Best of NJ. While flea markets tend to be more hodgepodge than antiques markets—where vendors usually set up well-curated mini-shops—both offer a huge selection in one location. Flea markets sell both new and old items, but the new stuff isn’t very upscale—lots of tube socks. Antiques dealers do sell at flea markets, as do people who rent space for what amounts to a one-time garage sale.
