About Anthony A. Prousi

In practice since 2013, Dr. Anthony Prousi is a licensed oral and maxillofacial surgeon who holds a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He is also chair of Hospital Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Virtua Health system.
He and his associate, Dr. Aidan Annie McKinlay, work closely with patients referred from general dentists and specialists to offer in-office and hospital-based surgical care, including dental extractions, bone preservation, wisdom teeth removal, orthodontic-based surgical therapy, and reconstructive jaw surgery. The office also provides a variety of dental implant therapies, from single implants for a missing tooth to full-mouth rehabilitation that utilizes the most advanced 3-D cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) and 3-D printing technology.
“Our patients enter our center, enjoy a safe and comfortable sedation, and leave with an aesthetically pleasing, functional, and life-changing set of new teeth—all in a single day,” Dr. Prousi says. “Our definitive surgical care improves both our patients’ mental and physical health.” All surgery and general anesthesia sedation is performed by surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The surgical staff also have advanced cardiac life-support training. “We treat patients like family in a state-of-the-art facility that is calm and welcoming, and where we are all exceptionally trained to deliver the highest-quality, evidenced-based care,” he says.
