Edward J. Feins, DMD

About Edward J. Feins

Over the past 32 years, Dr. Edward Feins has built his practice by providing extraordinary service and being very responsive to patient needs. He’s done that well enough to have been named a New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist for 16 consecutive years.

“I have built great personal relationships with many patients, and I am now treating a third generation of families,” he says. “Many patients are referrals via word of mouth, which speaks to the trustworthy and ethical manner in which the practice operates.”

Focusing on cutting-edge technology to achieve the best long-term results, his group offers everything from basic preventative care to cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers and dental implants. “We work hard to keep up with advanced technologies so we can treat patients in the most effective manner possible,” says Dr. Feins. He shares his practice with two general dentists and three specialists—a periodontist, an orthodontist, and an oral surgeon—to offer patients comprehensive dental care under one roof.

Dr. Feins uses the latest 3-D CT scan technology for accurate and predictable implant treatment, along with the new LANAP® laser for less painful, less traumatic periodontal surgery. His office also has a CEREC® system that digitally scans teeth, then designs and mills porcelain restorations in one visit. “Smiles must be both beautiful and functional,” he says. “We strive to restore the biomechanical, structural, and aesthetic integrity of every patient’s teeth.”

A UMDNJ graduate, Dr. Feins completed a residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center and an implantology fellowship at NYU. Although technology is critical to providing comprehensive care, patients seem to most appreciate his compassion and his friendly, comfortable office, formerly a church, that dates back to the 1880s.
