About Giorgio T. DiVincenzo
“Working with an experienced, board-certified periodontist with specialized training is the best way to successfully address implant placement, the treatment of gum disease, and grafting procedures,” says Dr. Giorgio DiVincenzo. He and Dr. David Lefkowitz, both diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology, are credentialed specialists who will perform your procedure correctly the first time. “You can expect unsurpassed clinical skills here, along with the gentle, personalized care you deserve,” says Dr. Lefkowitz. They work with Dr. Gabriel Strauss and their newest associate, Dr. Edward Chang.
These doctors are happy to welcome patients directly and to recommend a qualified restorative dentist. They offer the All-on-4® treatment concept, where patients leave the same day with full-arch restorations and smiles. Minimally invasive laser surgery is an option here for certain cases. Infection protocols have been a primary focus for this practice from day one, so patients feel comfortable and safe, even during this pandemic.
Dr. DiVincenzo’s 30 years of experience enables him to handle intensive surgical cases for patients with complex medical histories. After dental school, he completed residencies at both Staten Island University Hospital and Temple University. A professor at the New York University College of Dentistry and director of periodontology at Staten Island University Hospital, Dr. DiVincenzo also serves on the American Dental Association’s political action board. In practice for 12 years, Dr. Lefkowitz specializes in advanced implant cases and periodontal surgery. He graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry, where he also completed his specialty training.
