About Lee Kojanis
Because oral health is a window into the overall systemic health of an individual, Dr. Lee Kojanis is often the first health-care provider to recognize and diagnose systemic disease in his patients. “Being able to manage and treat a patient’s oral health knowing that you are improving their overall health is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession,” he says. “My aim is to treat and manage all patients the way in which I would want tobe treated. With empathy, compassion, understanding, and competence.”
In private practice since 2018, Dr. Kojanis, with his colleagues Drs. John Kallis and Tyler Zenga, manages and treats wisdom teeth, oral and facial pathology, facial trauma, TMJ issues, dentofacial deformities, facial cosmetic concerns, and a wide array of dental and oral surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, and grafting. “Advanced surgeries are planned using virtual surgical-planning software to provide more accurate and optimal results,” says Dr. Kojanis, who is section chief for the Department of Oral Surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
Known for consistent and excellent clinical outcomes, routine patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a safe and productive environment, Dr. Kojanis runs his own practice. “We do not have any corporate backing or interests,” he says. “This way we are allowed to dictate and manage patient care without any outside influence, which is extremely important to us.”
