About Leslie Elfenbein
Clifton Endodontics is trusted by referring dentists, especially for complex root canal and surgical endodontic procedures. “We have earned a reputation for integrity, fairness and the highest level of care,” Dr. Leslie Elfenbein says. He and partners Dr. Shalini Tewary, Dr. Joseph Stern and Dr. Anthony Arena use low radiation 3-D imaging and digital X-rays for accurate diagnosis and treatment. He goes on to say, “because we regularly consult with each other, patients will receive the benefit of our combined professional experience.” They communicate clearly to help patients make good treatment decisions and avoid unnecessary procedures. “We care for our patients like family, with understanding and gentle kindness,” says Dr. Stern.
Dr. Tewary, who pursued endodontics training at UMDNJ, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine says, “Having practiced first as general dentist, I can offer a comprehensive perspective of our patients’ needs.” She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Elfenbein is director of endodontics at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Stern, who is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, is the director of endodontics at Touro College of Dental Medicine. Our doctors continue to provide continuing education courses to dentists in the New York metropolitan area. “Our growing practice is proof that people still prefer to retain their natural teeth when possible,” says Dr. Tewary.
