As the mother of two sons, Dr. Melissa Roberto knew exactly what she wanted when opening her own orthodontic practice more than ten years ago: a warm, friendly environment where parents are very welcome and a place where she provides high-quality care to every patient herself.

“I believe in providing optimal treatment results, but I also recognize that the experience of orthodontic treatment is crucial, too,” she says. “That’s why we customize treatment plans for each patient’s unique goals and expectations. I love working with kids and tell them all the time that I will always answer their questions. As long as they are comfortable throughout the process, everything is easier.”

At her entirely digital practice, which includes an iTero® scanner for digital impressions, Dr. Roberto offers a variety of braces along with Invisalign®. She provides phase 1 (interceptive) and phase 2 (comprehensive) treatments, and her practice maintains current safety protocols as recommended by the CDC.

“I see a lot of kids who are at the middle school age, and that can be an awkward time in their lives,” she says. “At the end of their treatment process, the payoff is that they get a great confidence boost when they see their new smile. That’s my favorite part of the job.”

Dr. Roberto, who also provides orthodontic services at pediatric dental offices in Wayne and Hackettstown, has been named a New Jersey Family Favorite Kids’ Doc since 2012. She received her dental degree and postgraduate orthodontics training at UMDNJ.
