About Michael W. Klotz
Board-certified prosthodontist Dr. Michael Klotz provides implant, aesthetic, and reconstructive dentistry in a comprehensive yet conservative manner. “My practice is built on exceptional patient service, clinical excellence, and trust,” he says.
In addition to treating general dental issues such as fillings and crowns, Dr. Klotz and his team also skillfully handle the most complex dental cases, including severe tooth wear, full-mouth implant reconstructions, and high-quality dentures. “I strive to create very aesthetically pleasing and natural-looking restorations,” he says. Many local dentists also use Dr. Klotz for their own treatment. “Having colleagues come to the office for their own dental care is the highest compliment,” he notes.
In practice for over a decade, Dr. Klotz utilizes the latest digital technology and has an on-site dental laboratory. “Having a lab on premises is very unique and allows us to maintain strict quality standards,” he says. Even though Dr. Klotz loves the technical aspect of dentistry, building long-term relationships with his patients is the most fulfilling part of his work. It’s extremely rewarding to have patients return year after year because of their confidence in us,” he states.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Klotz received his dental degree from UMDNJ followed by a rigorous three-year prosthodontic residency at the University of Connecticut, where he also received training in dental implant placement and earned a master’s degree in dental science. He then completed a one-year fellowship in maxillofacial prosthetics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and became board certified in prosthodontics, the highest honor in the specialty.
