About Paul Zhivago

At his office in Westfield, which showcases his vision of how to practice dentistry using the latest digital technology within a modern and calm environment, Dr. Paul Zhivago conducts very thorough initial consultations to best understand each patient’s needs. “We take our time with everyone so that they can best understand their treatment, cost, and the time frame involved,” says Dr. Zhivago, who practices with Dr. Grace Kim. “I explain how we can get there together.”

Although he specializes in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, with an emphasis on restorative and implant dentistry, Dr. Zhivago also offers general dentistry procedures and has a dental hygienist on his highly trained staff. A proponent of cutting-edge technology, he uses ZBrush®, a computer software program used in films and animation, to show patients the possibilities of a smile design. “I pioneered digital dental systems with this software and use it for digital aesthetic workflows, enabling patients to see the potential results of my work during their appointment,” he says.

A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, where he received his prosthodontic specialty training, Dr. Zhivago also completed an implant fellowship at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Currently an adjunct clinical assistant professor of prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Zhivago is also director of Digital Dentistry in the Postgraduate Prosthodontic Department at that school.

In 2017, Dr. Zhivago was named to the 40 Under 40 top dentist list by Incisal Edge magazine, and in 2019, he was honored for excellence in teaching and mentoring by the Faculty Council at New York University College of Dentistry.
