About Robert M. Bagoff
“A smile says it all,” says Dr. Robert Bagoff, a general dentist for nearly 40 years. “I work hard to make my patients feel special and provide them with the best level of care.”
His practice provides preventative, general, and cosmetic dentistry with cutting-edge technology such as computerized and comfortable local anesthesia, low-dose radiation, digital X-rays and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) for 3-D imaging to determine diagnosis and treatment planning of dental implants, and an iTero™ intraoral scanner to create 3-D images of teeth.
Dr. Bagoff believes that dentistry is an integral part of the larger medical community. His approach toward patient care is all-encompassing. “I treat the whole person, not just their teeth,” he says. He strives to make every visit a fear-free dental experience. “I spend time talking to my patients and allay their fears by telling them everything I’m going to do before I do it.” He also wants patients to feel comfortable. They can sit back and relax in Tempur-Pedic® dental chairs while watching TV!
Dr. Bagoff earned his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed his residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He teaches and is the co-director of dentistry at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He also teaches and is an associate program director at the NYU College of Dentistry Continuing Dental Education Program for implant dentistry.
