Accurately diagnosing the cause of pain, treating it with minimally invasive injections or procedures, and avoiding the use of potentially addicting pain medications have been the guiding principles behind Dr. Anil Sharma’s pain management practice for the past 28 years.

“I’m able to provide top quality pain management comparable to any premier New York hospital, which means patients do not have to travel because they will get the same care here in New Jersey,” Dr. Sharma says. “The most rewarding part of my job is relieving my patient’s pain and seeing them able to enjoy their life and activities.”

Most of the procedures can now be performed in his state-of-the-art surgical suite in the office under local anesthesia.

Dr. Sharma is also a recent alumni of the business school Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He started and still manages a hedge fund known as Third Eye Capital Management which allowed him to start and fund the Anil and Pragati Sharma Family Foundation, an organization that financially supports health education and treatments around the world for the underprivileged.
He also is a board of trustee member of Monmouth Medical Center Foundation.
