A nationally renowned, board-certified spine surgeon, Dr. Arash Emami provides patients in New Jersey and New York City with state-of-the-art treatments, including minimally invasive spine surgery and technologically advanced, motion-preserving surgical options for fusion avoidance. He was the first surgeon in New Jersey to perform cervical and lumbar disc arthroplasty and among the first in the state to introduce minimally invasive spine surgery.
The founder of University Spine Center, Dr. Emami has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly for 18 consecutive years and for 9 years by New Jersey Monthly. He is chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and director of spine surgery at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center. A visionary in the field of minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Emami regularly teaches and lectures other spine surgeons around the country on the art of that technique, and he has helped develop and helped in the advancement of many other surgical techniques.
