About Avrum Joffe
Believing that every child deserves the best quality of life, pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Avrum Joffe is dedicated to helping children. He treats a variety of trauma and sports injuries as well as congenital deformities of the limbs and spine. “Every child deserves a chance to have as normal and functional a life as possible,” he says. “We do everything we can to make kids happy by helping them achieve the quality of life they deserve.”
Dr. Joffe is excited to welcome Dr. Hakan Pehlivan to the practice. “We’ll now be able to provide the highest level of personalized care to more patients, which is something I’m thrilled about,” says Dr. Joffe.
While he addresses musculoskeletal injuries in patients ranging from newborns to 21-year-olds, the most common issues Dr. Joffe handles are fractures, ACL tears, and patellar instability injuries, all increasingly common among children and teenagers. “We strive to consistently remain on top of the latest developments in technology in our field and use the most up-to-date methods, especially for ACL and ankle ligament injuries,” he says.
The author of many published scientific articles, he also shares his expertise related to common sports injuries during seminars and by speaking at local schools and community groups.
