About Avrum L. Joffe
Believing that every child deserves the best quality of life, pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Avrum Joffe is dedicated to helping children. He treats a variety of injuries, as well as congenital deformities of the limbs and complex pediatric hip and spine deformities. “It’s unfair and unjust that kids get injured or are born with congenital deformities,” he says. “They deserve a chance to have as normal and as functional a life as possible. I get to go to work and make kids happy by helping them achieve the quality of life they deserve.”
While addressing musculoskeletal injuries in patients ranging from newborns to 21-year-olds, the most common issues Dr. Joffe handles fractures, ACL tears and patella instability injuries, all increasingly common among children and teenagers. “I remain on top of the latest developments in technology in my field, and use the most up-to-date methods, especially for ACL and ankle ligament injuries,” he says.The author of many published articles, he also shares his expertise related to common sports injuries during seminars and by speaking at local schools and with community groups.Dr. Joffe is expanding his practice to a new location in Ridgewood by the end of 2018.
