Dr. Avrum Joffe leads a team of fellowship-trained, specialized surgeons who focus on the unique musculoskeletal needs of children from birth through adolescence. “We are experts in treating growing bones; that’s what distinguishes us,” he says.

Dr. Joffe is actively expanding the scope and locations of his practice to accommodate the growing need for pediatric orthopedic care. His team consists of Dr. Hakan Pehlivan and Dr. Ellen Dean (who leads the group’s Morristown practice location), along with physician assistants Jill McGovern, Jessica Perkins, and Nicole Bottino. The group also welcomed upper extremity surgeon Dr. Nancy Moontasri and PA Kayla McGovern to meet the demands of subspecialty care in their community.

The team treats a variety of conditions, including fractures, sports injuries, congenital limb deformities, neuromuscular disease, and complex spine deformities. Furthermore, Dr. Joffe is experienced in the treatment of ACL tears, among a plethora of other sports injuries that are becoming increasingly common in the preadolescent and adolescent populations in our community. “With the latest techniques and newest technology, we afford kids the best outcome possible while respecting their growing limbs,” he says.

Dr. Joffe’s team utilizes the most up-to-date technology in his modern offices, improving diagnostic capability and patient safety. “Our expanding, multi-faceted staff allows us to optimize patient care and satisfaction,” he says. “We pride ourselves on the referrals from our community pediatricians and patients, as we are honored to have earned their trust and confidence.”
