At Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists (ANS), one of the largest multidisciplinary neurosurgical practices in New Jersey, Drs. Ronald Benitez, Brian Beyerl, John Knightly and Yaron Moshel are dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders.

Dr. Benitez directs the ANS Neurovascular Center, which is at the forefront of ongoing research, delivering the latest innovative treatments for the most complex neurological disorders. One of few neurosurgeons specializing in both surgical and endovascular management of cerebrovascular disease, he focuses on stroke, brain aneurysms, skull-based surgery and acoustic neuromas.

Drs. Moshel and Beyerl co-direct the ANS Brain Tumor Center, which provides comprehensive treatments for benign and malignant tumors of the brain, skull base, spine and spinal cord. Dr. Moshel also co-directs the Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center at Atlantic Health. A clinical assistant professor at NYU Medical Center, he is nationally recognized for advanced treatment of brain tumors and multicenter clinical trials. Dr. Beyerl specializes in treating brain cancer. He co-directs the CyberKnife® stereotactic radiosurgery program at Atlantic Health—the first of its kind in New Jersey—and co-founded the ANS Center for Hope, the largest brain tumor support group in the state.

Dr. John Knightly directs the ANS Spine Center, which improves the quality of life for patients by treating spine disorders with innovative nonsurgical and surgical treatments, including minimally invasive techniques. Vice chairman of Atlantic Neuroscience Institute and a specialist in complex cervical/lumbar spine surgery, he is pioneering the use of big data analytics to identify the right treatment for the right patient at the right time.
