About Hooman Azmi
Board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon Dr. Hooman Azmi is an authority in the surgical treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He practices at North Jersey Brain and Spine Center, a group that proudly provides expert neurosurgical services, delivered with great emphasis on patient-centered care. “Our practice is heavily invested in leading with initiatives that ensure the safety of our patients who are admitted to the hospital,” he says.
Dr. Azmi is founder and director of Hackensack University Medical Center’s Division of Functional and Restorative Neurosurgery, where patients with movement disorders can get the most comprehensive care without traveling far from home. He also directs the hospital’s Division of Neurotrauma.
