About Joel P. Fechisin
After graduating from Lehigh University, Dr. Joel Fechisin received his medical degree from UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. After a one-year internship at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. During this time, he also completed training for pediatric orthopaedics and orthopaedic trauma.
Dr. Fechisin later pursued his interest in joints and arthritis by completing a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. There, he learned the latest techniques in total joint replacement. Additionally, Dr. Fechisin specializes in all disorders and injuries of the knee. He also has training in arthroscopy and cruciate ligament reconstruction.
