About John A. Conti

For Drs. John Conti and James Orsini Jr., comprehensive, compassionate cancer care is paramount. Working collaboratively with their partners, Drs. James M. Orsini Sr., Leena Bondili, Sana Najib, Said Saleh, Hemalatha Vasireddy, and Sita Yerramalli, they use traditional chemotherapy, a full spectrum of immune therapy, and next-generation sequencing to provide personalized cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art palliative care.

Dr. Conti, triple board-certified in internal medicine, oncology, and hospice–palliative medicine, serves as the medical director at Atlantic Hospice and the cancer program at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, helping ensure that hospital-based patient care meets the same uncompromising standards that he provides in the office. “As a lifelong New Jersey resident, it’s important to me to use my skills and training to provide the highest quality of care to patients in our
community,” Dr. Conti says.

Dr. Orsini, a board-certified hematologist and oncologist, believes in a personal hands-on approach in treating patients. He subspecializes in genitourinary malignancies and has a special interest in targeted, personalized cancer treatments.

“Targeted therapies and personalized medicine are the future of cancer care,” says Dr. Orsini. “We use DNA sequencing panels to identify and personalize each patient’s treatment plan. I am immensely proud to say that at New Jersey Cancer Care we offer the same treatment options as academic centers while not losing sight of the individual being treated.”

MEDICAL TRAINING: Dr. Conti: UMDNJ (MD, residency); Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (fellowship). Dr. Orsini: Saint George’s University School of Medicine (MD); NYU Langone Medical Center (residency); Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (fellowship).
