About Michael Edward Pollack
“I enjoy caring for active, athletic patients of all ages and treating their shoulder, elbow and knee problems,” Dr. Michael E. Pollack says. “Everything I do is geared toward treating the individual and avoiding unnecessary surgery. If surgery is indicated, my techniques minimize the procedure, decrease pain and accelerate recovery time.”
Dr. Pollack is board certified in orthopedic surgery, subspecialty certified in sports medicine and fellowship trained in shoulder, knee and minimally invasive procedures. He offers expertise in arthroscopic surgery, including All-Inside® ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, patella stabilization, rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization and labral repair. He routinely performs total and partial knee replacements, as well as total and reverse shoulder replacements. Dr. Pollack also treats all athletic injuries and fractures.
This three-time New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor is a partner at MidJersey Orthopaedics, a 15-physician, multispecialty practice that has delivered musculoskeletal care for more than four decades. Along with Drs. Phil Glassner, Tom St. John, Aleya Salam, Rick Chang, Scott Bleazey, Eric Gordon, Amit Bhandutia and Madouna Hanna, Dr. Pollack sees patients in the group’s new, state-of-the-art Bridgewater office.
Dr. Pollack enjoys educating his colleagues in minimally invasive techniques for the shoulder, elbow and knee. He currently serves as communications committee chairman of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and on the board of the Hunterdon Healthcare System.
