About Michael H. Fleisher
Dr. Michael Fleisher and Dr. Thomas Vates share the mission of providing excellent close-to-home urological care for children throughout Central Jersey. They bring a combined 50 years of experience in treating a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical issues involving the urinary and genital tracts. Common conditions include urinary tract infections, dysfunctional voiding, urinary tract obstruction and reflux, hernia/hydrocele, undescended testes and hypospadias.
Both physicians are board-certified urologists with fellowship training in pediatric urology. Dr. Fleisher serves as chief of pediatric urology at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, while Dr. Vates is chief of pediatric urology at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch and Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. “We identify and fix the problem, so a child can enjoy a healthy life without further surgeries,” Dr. Vates says.
