Enough to Swear By: Wes Sherman

Enough to Swear By is this season’s faculty exhibition by Wes Sherman. This exhibition features a collection of Sherman’s plein air paintings, with an emphasis on storytelling and the experience of the artist in nature. He explores color and abstraction in distinctive and exciting ways which deftly convey mood and an exceptional sense of place. Sherman teaches acrylic, plein air painting and art appreciation classes at The Center. He also leads regular group tours of Chelsea galleries. Sherman is an adjunct professor of studio arts at William Paterson University, Raritan Valley Community College, and Brookdale Community College.

Opening Reception: Friday, September 14, from 6 – 8 p.m.
