Maple sugaring

Feb 16–March 10: Maple sugaring is a centuries-old tradition that the Native Americans and colonists practiced. Take part in the custom during a 90-minute program at the Sugar Shack, a half-mile hike from the Environmental Education Center in Basking Ridge. See how trees are tapped and sap is collected to make syrup.
