On December 17, Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon announced its 2020 – 2021 winter season was open to skiers and snowboarders. Now, snow tubing is also available.
To keep Mountain Creek Resort safe for everyone, numerous new Covid-19 precautions and requirements have been put in place in accordance with CDC and local board of health guidelines. Mountain Creek Resort asks that guests who are feeling sick, or have family members who have been sick, please stay home, and that guests in attendance maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet while on property. All guests will be required to wear masks or face coverings while on property, except for when eating, and tickets and passes must be purchased online in advance of a guest’s visit.
Additionally, an increased focus on cleaning and sanitization has been implemented, with all high-touchpoint areas including counters, handrails, restrooms, seating and rental areas receiving regular and frequent cleaning. Entry into the Red Tail and South lodges, as well as any other indoor spaces, will be controlled to adhere to capacity restrictions. At the Red Tail Lodge, only those utilizing lodge services such as rentals, retail and food or beverage purchasing will be permitted to enter, with portable restrooms available in the Red Tail Lodge parking lot. At South Lodge, guests will be permitted entry to access restrooms, but all restaurant spaces will be restricted and locker rooms will be closed.
