The popular Art of Beer classes have returned to Markeim Arts Center!
Each week students will taste, evaluate and discuss five different beers. The class will educate and celebrate some of the best local, national and global beers. As part of this experience, you’ll identify beer styles and ingredients, learn the brewing process, explore the breweries, and the history of beer.
The Art of Beer will be taught by Chris Thomas, a trained professional in the alcoholic beverage industry specializing in the service and knowledge of beer, and co-owner of King’s Road Brewing Company. Classes will be held from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday nights: June 30, July 21 and August 18. The tuition for the class is $100 for all three classes, or $40 per class.
During COVID restrictions, classes will be held via zoom. If restrictions get lifted, future classes may be held in-person, in the Biergarten of King’s Road Brewing Company of Haddonfield. Students must be 21 years of age or older. Beers will be delivered to students within a 5 mile radius. If you are outside this radius, please contact Markeim at [email protected].
