The Essex County mansion of former Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is back on the market now that he’s playing for Pittsburgh.
The contemporary home on the Montclair-Cedar Grove border, which he bought for $9.5 million in 2023, is listed for sale at $15 million.
Rodgers bought the eight-bedroom, 9.5-bathroom house in 2023, when he signed with the Jets. The modern glass pad has incredible views of New York City and is located near the Mills Reserve, a wooded county park that sits on top of the First Watchung Mountain.
A devastating Achilles tendon tear during his first game with the Jets sidelined him for the rest of the season. He was traded to the Steelers in 2025 and recently told ESPN that this would be his last season playing in the NFL.
The house spans a whopping 10,0000 square feet. The sleek design features walls of windows, an open floor plan that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living spaces, and a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, custom cabinetry and a large center island with bar seating. Impressively, the back of the house is almost entirely made of glass.

The home is being listed by Coldwell Banker Realty in Mendham.
Carol Apprendi, a realtor with Brown Harris Stevens real estate office in Montclair who toured the home, previously told us it was “beautiful” and “very unusual for the area because it’s so modern. It’s a great home for entertaining and the views of the city are breathtaking.”
The mansion sits on 2.39 acres of land atop the mountain, making it very private. Taxes are more than $71,000 a year.
Other features of the house include a pool, gym, media room, wine cellar, cigar lounge and three-car garage. The “resort-style outdoor living area,” as the listing describes it, features a fire pit, sauna and cold plunge.
Potentially buyers must show proof of funds to tour it.
