Two Ways to Enjoy the Day
Full Adventure Stop – Disembark at Snyders Station (home to the Susquehanna Mining Company and our seasonal Corn Maze). Spend nearly 2 hours on site:
Gem Panning at the Susquehanna Mining Company – A must-do for every passenger! Join a short, hilarious (yet tragically funny) tour of the mine’s history. One lucky miner pushes the plunger to “blow the mine”! Each participant gets a basic bag of mining “rough” and learns to pan for real gemstones (rubies, amethysts, crystals, and more) to take home. Upgrade with specialty bags on site. Browse the gift shop for minerals, souvenirs, and snacks.
