Adam Sandler is no stranger to some “high-quality H20,” having famously played the Waterboy.
However, his recent splishing and splashing in New Jersey was all about Grown Ups 3.
Sandler joined co-star Salma Hayek for some water-park antics at Keansburg Amusement Park on Monday morning.
The two actors, clad in bright orange ponchos, manned oversized water blasters, aiming the sprayers for a water park scene. Sandler and Hayek reprise their roles from Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013) as husband and wife Lenny Feder and Roxanne Chase-Feder.

The Netflix and Sony Pictures movie has been filming at the Monmouth County amusement park (which includes the Runaway Rapids water park) since August 27.
Actor Maria Bello, reprising the role of Sally Lamonsoff from the first two films, was seen filming in Keansburg on August 28.
Kyle Newacheck, who directed Sandler in Happy Gilmore 2 — another Netflix movie that filmed extensively in New Jersey — is helming Grown Ups 3.
Sandler, who turns 60 September 9, co-wrote the film with frequent collaborator Tim Herlihy.
In addition to Sandler, Hayek and Bello, Grown Ups 3 includes boasts an all-star lineup of Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, David Spade, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Cheri Oteri, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn and Newark native Shaquille O’Neal.
Sandler’s wife, Jackie Sandler, and their daughters, Sadie Sandler and Sunny Sandler, will also return.
This will be the first Grown Ups film since the death of Cameron Boyce, who played Sandler and Hayek’s son, Keithie Feder, in the first two films. Boyce was 20 when he died of a seizure in 2019.
Newcomers to the Grown Ups franchise include Julie Bowen, Deon Cole, Bailee Madison and David Mattle.
Sandler gamely greeted Jersey fans throughout Grown Ups 3 production in the last few weeks, stopping to wave and take selfies. The actor has been residing in Short Hills during filming.
Grown Ups 3 has filmed all over the state in places like Ridgewood, the Colonia part of Woodbridge, Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille at the Madison Hotel in Morris County and the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts in Madison. Local production is set to continue this fall.
Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming making-of-Rocky movie I Play Rocky, from director Peter Farrelly, also filmed in Keansburg last year.
