Autumn in Hunterdon

Earlier this week, I took the scenic route back to our office in Morristown after reporting the Tabby's Place story in Ringoes. This picture was taken about two miles west of Sergeantsville.

That’s quite a lawn, but when they get this big, people probably don’t call them lawns anymore. Living on an eighth of an acre myself, I wouldn’t know.

I’m guessing not a pasture, because it lacks fences to keep the quadripeds from becoming hood ornaments.

A field?

Or, in Hunterdon, maybe just a welcome mat.
