A Dead End to Die For

Plain Sight is back in the enveloping embrace, or clutches, of home. As promised, or warned, a few  visual mementoes of my trip to Portland, Maine...

I was visiting my friend Anthony, who art directed most of the special issues and books I edited in another life, as editor of special projects for People magazine from 1995 to 2001.

Anthony lives in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, a suburb of Portland right on the coast. This picture was taken as we walked from his house (about 100 yards behind us here) to the beach and the breathtaking rock formation jutting into the water, which you’ll see later this week.

Ahh, vacation, a lovely flickering candle.
