Construction curtains looming like a hull with cockeyed portholes.

Chain-link fence, the vernacular  boundary.

And a warning on which America was built.

Dedicated to one of my heroes, Lee Friedlander,

whose camera first revealed the poetry of chain link fence consorting with traffic signs and parking meters and construction materials, all mapped in stringent black & white.
