Off the Hook in South Jersey

Do you like seafood? This week you can get it fresh and local—at a fixed price—in South Jersey.

The Garden State might have a 142-mile coastline, but most restaurants in Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington counties consider “fresh and local” to come from farms. For this week’s special “Off the Hook” promotion, 30 restaurants in the three counties are adding dishes made with local and fresh seafood to their menus. The promotion runs through Thursday.

The special? Four courses for $30 with seafood playing the starring role. You can expect to find dishes like escarole soup at Villari’s Millmarian in Palmyra, grilled lobster and heirloom tomato salad at Scaturro’s in Marlton, tuna carpaccio at Filomena’s Cucina Rustica in West Berlin, and sangria oyster shooters at the Tortilla Press in Collingswood.
