Style: Displays of farm implements meet jars of bubble gum and baskets of vegetables at this eclectic, casual, BYO storefront where patrons sit at communal picnic tables or at counters with stools.

Don’t Miss: Kashi 7-grain protein pancakes ($8) for the health conscious, Elvis French toast stuffed with peanut butter and bananas ($8) for everyone else. Chop-chop salad (greens, cucumber, peppers, feta, red onion, chick peas, olives, and croutons with a lemon vinaigrette, $6) or Waldorf salad ($8) are tasty and light. At dinner, comfort foods such as cornflake-crusted pork chop ($12), chicken quesadilla ($9), and French dip sandwich ($9) are available for meat eaters, while vegetarians can choose from the ultimate veggie roll ($10), pasta primavera in light wine broth ($13), or four-cheese grilled cheese sandwich ($7). The menu changes daily.

Heads Up: The picnic tables may be hard for older patrons to get into. Ask for a chair.

The Scoop: Locovores will be pleased to learn that the Bistro features foods from area farms and markets. There is music on Tuesday evenings.
