Hours: Mon–Thurs, 11 am–10 pm; Fri and Sat, 11 am–11 pm.

Price: $$$

Style: A mix of New Orleans and Italian cuisine, heavy on the spice.

Don’t Miss: You can’t go wrong with any of the traditional New Orleans-style dishes. The shrimp and grits ($25) is a patron and staff favorite, followed closely by jambalaya ($28). If Cajun isn’t quite your thing but you still want to give it a try, order the less spicy chicken, red beans, and rice ($22), served with fluffy biscuits.
Heads Up: Most of the dishes served at Melange are spicy, and servers warn you if what you’re ordering is known to be a sinus clearer. But if you are really sensitive to hot foods, ask to have your dish toned down, even if it doesn’t carry a spice warning. They’ll take the bite out of everything if you ask.

The Scoop: Melange at Haddonfield is the second Melange from Chef Joe Brown—the original is in Cherry Hill. In warmer months, ask to be seated on the deck. If the dinner prices seem daunting, try the lunch menu.
