About Dr. Adriana Lombardi
My father is an orthopedic surgeon, and I spent many summers working in his office, getting to know patients and seeing the positive impact surgical outcomes had on their lives. Surgery was always a field I had a passion for. At Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, I discovered my other passion to be dermatology, and by doing Mohs surgery and reconstruction to address skin cancer, I am able to combine my two passions.
When someone is diagnosed with skin cancer, it can be very unsettling. I first like to sit with them and discuss different options for treatment, which can include Mohs surgery and reconstruction. My number one priority is always to remove the cancer in its entirety in order to cure the patient. Then my priority is to reconstruct the area affected by the cancer and leave my patient with the best possible cosmetic outcome.
My staff and I know a skin cancer diagnosis can elicit fear and anxiety, so we walk each patient through the process and make it as comfortable as possible. I treat every patient like they are my family. I love getting to know them and creating a feeling of a close-knit community in my office, where my staff works very hard to provide a friendly and nurturing environment.
I find it very rewarding to diagnose and treat skin cancer, curing it after the Mohs procedure and leaving my patients with cosmetically appealing results. At Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Surgery Center of New Jersey, we also specialize in cosmetic injectables, CoolSculpting®, radiofrequency (RF) microneedling, and a variety of other non-invasive cosmetic techniques.
When not working, I love spending every minute I can with my three children. My other passions include cooking, traveling, and gardening.
