About Dr. Mark Glasgold

I have been in practice for 27 years, and my focus has always been on cosmetic facial rejuvenation. For the last 25 years, deep plane facelifts are the only type of facelift I have performed, and I have worked to expand the results of this procedure to its greatest extent. From the beginning, I felt it was a superior procedure, and the recent trend toward performing deep plane facelifts supports my belief.
My goal is to perform a deep plane facelift with an easy patient experience. Twilight anesthesia is used for all surgery, there are no bandages or drains, and patients are usually functioning within two weeks. I will only perform one surgery a day, and my philosophy is to make that surgery as close to perfect as I can for every patient.
Many prospective patients ask if I can draw the potential result on the computer. I do not because there is no guarantee I can recreate the drawing in the operating room. My approach is to listen to the patient’s concerns and then show them real results from my library of patient results based on their individual anatomy and condition. The hallmark of a good deep plane facelift is that the midface, including the sagging cheek and marionette line, is corrected by the surgery along with the jawline and neck.
My goal is for the patient experience to exceed expectations, both in the result and in the process. Patients seek me out for deep plane facelifts because they can see the natural results in my before-and-after pictures, and they have confidence in my 25-year experience with over 1,000 deep plane facelifts.
