Dr. Naren Rajan combines comprehensive diagnosis and treatment with state-of-the-art digital techniques in ways unlike many other dentists. His all-digital office uses a 3D optical scanner to create accurate models of each patient’s mouth, facilitating diagnosis and treatment. For patients requiring implants, he combines 3D x-rays, specialized design software and onsite 3D printing to create custom implant guides for the surgeon to ensure predictable placement. “I am thrilled to be able to leverage this technology to improve outcomes for my patients,” says Dr. Rajan.

A graduate of UMDNJ, Dr. Rajan also has trained at both the prestigious Pankey Institute and Spear Education. He is assistant director of digital dentistry at Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College and lectures on the topic nationally for 3Shape® (a global industry leader in digital technology) and Straumann (a top tier global implant manufacturer), as well as for private study clubs.
