“We’ve been creating beautiful-looking, healthy smiles for generations,” says Dr. Richard Newman, a second generation orthodontist whose practice maintains a more than 50-year family tradition. Dr. Newman received his orthodontic training at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. He serves as chief orthodontist of the Craniofacial Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, where he is part of a team that treats highly complex cases, including cleft lip and palate.
