Robert Griggs, DMD

About Robert Griggs

“We’re in the business of helping people find and maintain their smiles,” says Dr. Robert Griggs. He and his team leaders make decisions based on their core values: provide exceptional service, be great communicators, remain 100% patient centric, serve as leaders in the industry and act selflessly.

A Dawson Academy and UMDNJ alumnus, Dr. Griggs co-founded Forum for Advanced Dental Studies in 1999 and has provided 20 seasons of continuing education credits to dental professionals in surrounding counties. Alongside associates Dr. Dorothy Lee, Dr. Ryan Donelan, Dr. Arabelle McNamara, and Dr. Samantha Aaron, Dr. Griggs offers basic and advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments and surgical implants. He embraces cutting-edge technologies including the CEREC® 3D system which mills crowns in one on-site visit. He introduced Lifetime Dentures® to craft dentures that are eight times stronger than usual and can be completed in as few as two to three visits. WaveOne Gold is a machine used to ensure adequate root canal procedures. T-Scan™ technology is used for bite precision. His use of a 3D cone beam allows proper airway evaluation; qualifying patients can have a custom OPTISLEEP device made to open their airway while sleeping.

Complimentary transportation (including an auto-access seat) is available to patients, as are extended hours 7 days per week and alternating Sundays. In 2017, his team served patients free of charge in the Dominican Republic, and then hosted Freedom Day USA serving military veterans in 2018 and 2019. Annually he awards qualifying local graduates an educational scholarship.

“To take every measure possible to ultimately benefit patients…it was always the dream,” says Dr. Griggs.
