About Andrew Glenn Rudnick
Dr. Andrew Rudnick is a board-certified cardiologist and clinical cardiac electrophysiologist. He treats all forms of cardiovascular disease, with a focus on cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, extra beats or skipped beats, various forms of palpitations, and abnormally slow heart rates.
In practice for 25 years, he has witnessed meaningful progress in the treatment of atrial fibrillation. For patients at risk for stroke, but for whom taking a blood thinner may be a problem, a WATCHMAN™ device can be implanted to provide protection. Many patients with atrial fibrillation also can be treated safely and effectively with pulsed-field ablation. For patients with slow heart rates, Dr. Rudnick can implant a pacemaker entirely inside the heart, allowing them to live normal lives without the risks and inconvenience associated with older-generation pacemakers.
“We place the needs of our patients above all else,” says Dr. Rudnick. “We work collaboratively with them to make a diagnosis and to develop the most appropriate treatment plan. We recognize that every person is unique.”
In 2019, Dr. Rudnick developed an arrhythmia clinic within his broader cardiovascular practice. This clinic, the Center for Atrial Fibrillation and Electrophysiology (CAFE), provides best-practice specialty care for people with arrhythmias, using clinically proven strategies that promote longer and better-quality lives.
He is joined by a dedicated team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who contribute to providing quality care in a patient-centered environment.
